On October 17, 2024, Nexans hosted a major immersive event dedicated to electrification and innovation at the Atelier des Lumières. During an exclusive evening in the heart of a unique, immersive venue, Nexans teams welcomed 160 guests including power utilities, distributor partners, major installers, institutional guests and Nexans employees.

Nexans has achieved significant recognition at the Australian Good Design Awards, where two of its products, MOBIWAY BOOST and MOBIWAY UN’REEL, were awarded for their excellence in design and innovation. The awards, announced on September 20th at a ceremony in Sydney, spotlighted Nexans’ commitment to advancing technology and safety in the electrification industry.

A groundbreaking study on marine pollution was presented on October 1st at Nexans’ innovation center, AmpaCity, in Lyon, born from a novel partnership between the scientific world and industry. United around Fabrice Amédéo, researchers unveiled unprecedented results obtained thanks to a cutting-edge sensor deployed during the 2020 Vendée Globe. This unique campaign revealed the omnipresence of microplastics in the ocean, their diversity, and the explosion in the number of small microplastics, as well as the presence of cellulose fibers.
