Nexans Climate Day
For 120 years, Nexans has been a key player in the electrification of the world and has been committed to electrify the future in a sustainable way.
To go even further, in 2020, Nexans launched the first edition of the Climate Day, an international event bringing together a dozen of ecosystem expert speakers. The aim: raising awareness of climate challenges, sharing experiences, and providing concrete solutions for sustainable electrification.
The world is currently entering a new era where the need for global electrification is increasing. Therefore, Nexans is at the forefront of this electrical revolution to produce, transmit, distribute and use a sustainable electricity.
After the first edition in Paris, France, the Climate Day has been successfully repeated for two other editions in 2021 (Stockholm, Sweden) and 2022 (New York City, USA). This year, Nexans has chosen to organize the fourth edition of the Climate Day in Rabat, Morocco.

Climate change accelerates. The energy transition is underway. How to address the question of the sustainable electrification of the world?
Nexans launched its very first edition of the Climate Day in order to start imagining answers to the planet's call for sustainable electrification. The event put the issues of climate change, energy transition and sustainable electrification of the planet in the center of the discussion.
The starting point for the exchanges was the unprecedented global study by Roland Berger consultants about the challenges around the world’s electrification.
With the outstanding participation of world-renowned experts on the matter, as well as photographer and activist Yann Arthus-Bertrand, President of the GoodPlanet Foundation.
