Nexans announces the appointment of Jean-Christophe Juillard as Deputy Chief Executive Officer effective April 4th, 2022. He will continue in his role of Chief Financial Officer in charge of the Finance and Information Systems.

Jean-Christophe will support Christopher GuΓ©rin, Chief Executive Officer, in the deployment of Nexans’ 2022-2024 strategic roadmap. His roles and responsibilities will oversee the execution of key initiatives, as approved by the Board of Directors including operational strategy development, business turnaround and transformation, as well as budget and performance monitoring.

I am pleased with the appointment of Jean-Christophe as Nexans’ Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Since 2019, Jean-Christophe has placed his vast professional ability at the service of Nexans. This nomination will allow us to be more efficient in leading the Group and executing our 2022-2024 roadmap.

Jean-Christophe Juillard

Jean-Christophe joined Nexans in 2019 as Senior Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in charge of the Finance and Information Systems. He has more than 25 years of experience in finance in the United States and Europe, in various companies in the manufacturing and energy sectors. Jean-Christophe began his career in New York with a subsidiary of Spie Batignolles and then worked in the audit department at Ernst & Young in Paris. He joined Alstom Transport in New York in 2004 as Vice President Finance for North and South America before being appointed Senior Vice President Finance of Alstom’s Renewable Energy Division in 2011. Before joining Nexans, for over five years Jean-Christophe Juillard was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ContourGlobal Group, a US energy company successfully listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2017.
