Located in Hanover, Stella Nova is Nexans’ center dedicated to superconducting and cryogenic technologies. The facility brings together engineering, manufacturing and testing capabilities supporting the development of solutions for the energy transition.
During the visit, delegates will discover the site’s industrial capabilities, including superconducting cable systems, cryogenic transfer line technologies, and high-precision forming and welding equipment. The visit will also provide an overview of how these technologies contribute to the development of resilient electrical networks and support the growing demand for electrification.
The visit is reserved for registered delegates of the CRU Wire & Cable Conference.
Nexans at CRU Wire & Cable Conference 2026
Nexans will also participate in the CRU Wire & Cable Conference, held in Hanover from 23 to 25 June 2026. Bringing together industry leaders, technical experts and key stakeholders from across the wire and cable value chain, the event will focus on the challenges and opportunities created by the acceleration of electrification, grid expansion, digitalisation and the growing power requirements of industry, transportation and data centers.
As part of the conference programme, Yann Duclot, Director of Acceleration Units at Nexans, will share insights into the maturity and industrial applications of superconducting technologies. His presentation will highlight how superconducting cable systems can support the development of more resilient and efficient power networks while addressing increasing energy demand. Register now.
