Nexans commits to professional equality

The Nexans Group considers diversity as an asset that enables and amplifies its performance and expertise. For several years, the Group in France has been implementing initiatives aimed at promoting social and gender diversity and equality within its teams and businesses.

On 27 April 2018, an agreement on professional equality between women and men was concluded with the French trade union representatives, setting ambitious targets for implementing the professional equality policy.
As of March 1, 2019, Nexans' score for the year 2018 in relation to the new indicators set up by the French law regarding the professional career path is 66 points.

Nexans is determined to pursue the approach of continuous improvement and to take the necessary actions in cooperation with the social partners in order to improve this result starting from next year.
