Électriciens sans frontières provides photovoltaic electrification a village in Burkina Faso
Zanrcin is a village with a population of 550 in a rural area, 100 miles East of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. The village is known for its extreme poverty and high illiteracy rate (75% among adults). In partnership with a local charity, “Neeb la Taaba”, "Electriciens sans frontières" launched a project to provide electricity to key locations in the village: the school, the youth center, and the ecotourism concession.
