Nexans reinforces its position as a leader in Australia’s renewable energy transition by supporting the construction of a major solar farm project at Glenrowan, Victoria
Nexans will work in consortium with Tesmec Australia for the connection of a major solar farm at Glenrowan to the Victorian Transmission Network, connecting the solar farm to the Glenrowan terminal station (GNTS) of Victoria Transmission network, and ensuring access to sustainable electricity to over 45,000 Australian homes.

This half-year financial report includes in particular the condensed consolidated financial statements as at June 30th, 2022, the half-year activity report, the declaration of the person responsible for the half-year financial report and the statutory auditors' report.

Today, Nexans published its financial statements for the first-half of 2022, as approved by the Board of Directors at its meeting on July 26, 2022 chaired by Jean Mouton. Record-high EBITDA, net income and ROCE performances, underpinned by strong momentum and Nexans’ transformation platform.

EuroAsia Interconnector Limited, the Project Developer of the European electricity interconnection project linking the national grids of Israel, Cyprus and Greece (Crete) has announced that Nexans has been selected as the preferred bidder for the award of the supply and installation of the HVDC 500kV HVDC Mass Impregnated (MI) Cables for the 1,000MW Cyprus – Greece (Crete) Link.

A world-first in France at Montparnasse train station: Nexans installs superconducting cables to strengthen and secure the power supply
Together with its partners, Nexans won a project, from Bpifrance, for the installation of two superconducting DC cables near Montparnasse station in Paris. This is the first time that cables of this type will be integrated into a rail network and is set to be the first permanent installation in France on any network.
