Jacques Villemur joins Nexans Executive Committee as Senior Corporate Vice President in charge of Human Resources

Jacques VillemurParis, July 15, 2008 – Nexans, the worldwide leader in the cable industry, has appointed Jacques Villemur as member of the Executive Committee of the Group and Executive Vice President in charge of Human Resources, with immediate effect. Until today, Jacques Villemur was Corporate Vice President Career Management within Nexans.

 

Jacques Villemur is graduated from the French Business School HEC in Paris. He started his career in 1975 at the Export Department of Stein Industrie, where he held, successively, the position of Management Control Director, General Secretary (in charge, particularly, of human resources) and Chief Financial Officer.

 

He joined Alcatel Cable in 1994 as Management Control Director of the German subsidiary. Two years later, he was appointed Vice President Planning & Finance Analysis for the Telecom Division of the Cable group. From 2001 to 2006, he was Vice President Financial Control & Consolidation within the Nexans Group. End of 2006, he joined the Corporate Human Resources Department as Corporate Vice President in charge of Career Management.
