Management Board

The Management Board is chaired by the CEO, Arnaud Poupart-Lafarge. Its primary role is to define the strategy, the resources allocation and the Group’s organization. It is in charge of the proper process of the management of the Group. It includes:

Chief Executive Officer
Arnaud Poupart-Lafarge joined Nexans in July 2013 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he managed for ArcelorMittal group various operations in Europe, Africa and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States). He was until July 2013 a member of ArcelorMittal management council.
Arnaud Poupart-Lafarge is a graduate Engineer from Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Ponts et Chaussée and holds a Master of Science in Economics from Stanford University, United States.


Pascal Portevin Pascal Portevin
Senior Corporate Executive Vice President, International and Operations
Pascal Portevin is responsible for the Asia Pacific Area, the North and South America Areas as well as the Automotive & Industrial Wire Harnesses Business Group.
From 2011 to 2014 Pascal Portevin was Senior Corporate Executive Vice President in charge of the Europe Area. Until 2011, Pascal Portevin was Senior Corporate Executive Vice President in charge of the Middle East, Russia and Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America and South America Areas, as well as commercial & innovation policies for the Group. From 2003 to 2009, he was Executive Vice-President in charge of Strategic Operations and between 1999 and 2003, President of the Telecom Division at Nexans. From 1996 to 1999, he was appointed Managing Director of the General Market product line with the Cables and Components sector of Alcatel after having headed its Telecommunications Cable operations. From 1993 to 1996 he was Chief Executive Officer of Alcatel Fibres Optiques, then Director of Operations of the Optical Fibres product line. From 1990 to 1993 he was Technical Director of Alcatel North America when the Claremont (North Carolina) optical fibres factory was being built. From 1988 to 1990, he was the CEO of CGTI, a subsidiary of Alcatel specialized in the microwave communication. He began his career with Câbles de Lyon in 1985.
Pascal Portevin is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris and of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications.
Christopher Guérin Christopher Guérin
Senior Executive Vice President, Europe and Telecom/Datacom, Power Accessories Business Groups
Christopher Guérin is responsible for the Europe Area, and for Telecom/Datacom Business Group & Power Accessories Business Group
Christopher began his career in sales with Linde Group in 1995 during two years in England before joining Alcatel Cables in 1997 in the Metallurgy Division, he held various sales and marketing Directorship positions. He joined Nexans’ headquarters in 2005 as Sales Director Europe, and lead the Sales Transformation program for the Group. In 2007 Christopher was appointed Vice President of Marketing for the Industry sector, and in 2009 became the General Manager of the Industry Activity in France. In 2011, he was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Industry Market line in Europe. From 2013 to 2014, he was Executive Vice President, Europe Industry Market Line.
Graduated from ESDE / American Business School, Christopher Guérin followed the Management Acceleration program at INSEAD.
Benjamin Fitoussi Benjamin Fitoussi
Senior Executive Vice President, MERA (Middle-East Russia Africa) and Industry Solutions & Projects Business Group
Benjamin Fitoussi is responsible for the MERA Area and the Industry Solutions & Projects Business Group.
Benjamin began his career in 1996 with Gemini Consulting helping customers reengineer projects in the aerospace industry before joining Roland Berger in 2000 and then Alstom Power in 2006 where he filled multiple roles most notably that of General Manager for the Boiler Product Line in Zurich. In 2011 Benjamin joined Nexans as Senior Vice President Strategy, Development & Transformation before being appointed in 2014 Executive Vice President Middle East, Russia & Africa and Executive Vice President Resources & Transportation Infrastructure. Benjamin graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aérotechnique and the Haute Ecole de Commerce (HEC), Paris. He has also followed the Executive training program at INSEAD.
Dirk Steinbrink Dirk Steinbrink
Senior Executive Vice President, High Voltage and Underwater Cable Business Group
Dirk Steinbrink is responsible for the High Voltage & Underwater Cable Business Group.
Until June 1st, 2011 Dirk Steinbrink was responsible for the Land High Voltage Business Group. In 2007 and 2008 he was Managing Director of a privately owned company in Germany, Harting Electric. Dirk Steinbrink was appointed Managing Director of Nexans’ Hanover unit in 2004, and held different responsibilities between 1999 and 2006 in the Hanover management and Product Line organization. He joined Alcatel Cable in 1998 as Head of Project Management & Export Sales in Hanover.
Dirk Steinbrink is graduated as a doctor of Electrical Engineering in High-Voltages from the Bergische University of Wuppertal (Dr.-Ing).
Nicolas Badré Nicolas Badré
Chief Financial Officer
Nicolas Badré held at ‘Groupe Saint-Gobain’ (1995 – 2007) various Financial Directorship positions in operational subsidiaries across the group globally. In 2007, Nicolas Badré joined the Owens Corning group as European Financial Director, where he was responsible for executing financial processes across its European operations. While at Owens Corning, Badré also managed the operational financial direction in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) as well as two divisions operating worldwide.
Nicolas Badré graduated from the Haute Ecole de Commerce (HEC), Paris and has a CEMS Master in Management (Community of European Management Schools). He has also achieved the following French Ministry of Finances qualification: Cycle des Hautes Etudes pour le Développement Economique.
Anne-Marie Cambourieu Anne-Marie Cambourieu
Senior Corporate Vice President, Human Resources
Prior to joining Nexans in 2012, Anne-Marie Cambourieu held different positions as a Human Resources Executive. She was Global Chief Human Resources Officer at ACCOR, Human Resources Executive Vice President at Bull, and before from  1997 to 2008 at Danone Group, Vice President Human Resources Dairy Division, and Vice President Human Resources Development in charge of Talent Management for the Group. She held the position of Human Resources Western Europe for the American Group Whirlpool, and different positions in France. She started her career in Philips France as Human Resources Manager.
Anne-Marie Cambourieu holds a Masters Degrees in private law and in personnel management & labor law.
